Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

The course content was structured well and the academic staff are very skilled and helpful.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Newcastle is a very good city with nice people. My favourite thing is studying.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

Friendship in the community. The education system and the lifestyle.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes. It was easy to fit in thanks to the help and guidance from the staff.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The overall programme is really outstanding.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

All the academic staff, especially the professors involved in the BIM course.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

Honglei Li and Geoff Walton.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Northumberland Building

What is the best thing about your course?

The content of the course is very good and the academic staff provide excellent support.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

The ability to study under pressure and manage my workload.

What do you want to do in the future?  What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I would like to work as an IT Security Analyst in full-time; as well as potentially doing a Masters programme.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Newcastle is a great city suitable for student life. Northumbria University has the academic programmes that people need to succeed.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I feel more confident academically and professionally.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Useful, worthy and valuable.
