What undergraduate course did you study and where?

Mass Communication.

Why did you decide to study a masters?

I decided to do a Masters because I have a passion for Mass Communication.

Why did you choose Northumbria university?  Why did you choose your specific course?

I chose Northumbria University because it is ranked as one of the best in business courses, and in terms of the course I chose Mass Communication Management, was because the course afforded me the opportunity to explore business and marketing as well as mass communication. I have a passion for mass communication, but I am also very keen to business and marketing. So when I saw that Northumbria offered both, I was very happy.

What makes your course challenging/inspiring/different?  How would you sum up the difference between undergraduate and postgraduate study?

The Essay writing, and the Management courses. Post graduate study is in-depth studying and knowledge.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?  

Field trip, guest lecturers, seminars, group assignment, all made studying at Northumbria interesting. and the feedback was constructive, as I was made aware of my areas of strength and weakness.

What impressed you most about our academic staff?

They are supportive and friendly.

How accessible do you find our staff?

Very accessible. Yes I feel at ease with them.

As a postgraduate student, what aspects of university life are important to you?  

Facilities, and support services.

What doors do you think this course will open for you?  

It will give me an edge as I want to further my studies, it will also help me if I consider working in an organization as part of their marketing and communication team.

Have you changed as a person?

I am more matured, very time conscious, and a better researcher and writer.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words before coming to Northumbria?  

Before Northumbria- I am focused, determined and hardworking After Northumbria- I am purpose driven, i have developed my communication skills, and increased in my research ability.

How would you describe Northumbria in 3 words?

Inspiring, Innovative and Supportive.

Do you feel that your course has been a worthwhile investment in your future?

YES
