Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

It is very nice place to live with friendly environment and perfect weather. Living cost is low and transport system is very convenient.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

It is very nice place to live with friendly environment and perfect weather. Living cost is low and transport system is very convenient.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

The friendly of local people and my supervisors, Professor Steve Taylor and Matt Smith. I am very impressed with local peoplefrom the first time came here, three years ago. My supervisor always motivates and supports me in the best condition to finish my research. They make me feel more comfortable, more confident to study.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, I had a very warm welcome and it was easy to fit in.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

University facilities is modern and convenient. My Supervisor is very friendly.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Glamera Centra, Lipman Building

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

Yes, Sure. Badminton and Football clubs.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Academic working style of my supervisor. 

Have you taken up any opportunities to travel with your current course/undertake field trips? If so, please tell us about them.

Yes, I traveled to some European countries such as Italia, France.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

You will have a perfect study environment to improve your academic skill.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

More confidence in my skills.
