Where are you from?

Asia –  Malaysia

Why did you choose Northumbria University?

I was doing a twinning programme, studying the first 2 years of my degree back in my country, Malaysia, and then came over here to do my final year. I wanted the opportunity to study abroad in one of the best modern universities in the UK and experience different cultures simultaneously.

How did you feel during your first week at Northumbria?

It was scary at first, being in a new country with new expectations, but although there were minor hiccups, it was generally a very exciting and fun week as I got my first taste of British university life.

What do you like most about the course?

The fact that the lecturers are very dedicated to their subject. My tutors are friendly and helpful, and they have really made my studies here at Northumbria smoother and more enjoyable.
