Each month, we will be compiling a selection of events for you here, so that you can keep track of things happening both on and off campus. From events in student accommodation and society socials to Northumbria University Sport fixtures and pop-up events on campus, we've got you covered!

Arts and Crafts with Converge⁠

The arts and crafts supplies are provided for you along with guidance on how to create as well as freedom to express yourself. This is an inclusive space for you to come relax and take a break from your hectic day/ week starting from 6th March.

Northumbria FREE Clothes Swap⁠

8th March brings a chance to update your wardrobe without spending a penny! The Cost of Living Swap Shop is a free exchange event for all students and staff to bring clothes and accessories that you no longer wear and exchange them for new to you.

If you bring in clothes to donate, then you can exchange for as many as you like. If you don't bring any, then you are limited to 2 items.

Therapy Dog Visit⁠

Do you have a dog at home you've not seen in a while? Need a little boost of serotonin in your day? Or just looking for a way to break up your studies? Join us inside Northumbria Students' Union for a couple hours of dog love! The fully trained therapy dogs come along for a couple of hours every month to see you!

Freshly squeezed open mic night

Sign up for a slot from 7pm and get comfortable, performances will begin shortly after. Welcoming everyone from seasoned performers to first timers; bringing fresh material or old classics this is a friendly and non-judgmental community that welcomes all.

Are you curious about Newcastle? Looking for an unusual and quirky activity which gets you out in the fresh air whatever the weather? Take one of our self-guided walks with a treasure hunt theme – looping around the better-known sights, as well as some of the more unusual and quirky ones, which combined make Newcastle a fabulous place to explore!

Eccentric characters comedy night: Alphabetti Theatre

A new night from the Felt Nowt crew, the Eccentric Characters Comedy Night will see a series of local favourites inhabiting some strange and hilarious characters.

Simon Donald and host Mary-Louise Zadecki promise unlikely types like Barry Twyford, Howka Charvaz and Psychic Stu in what promises to be quite an evening.

Do you want to learn and share knowledge about creating videos? Then this workshop is for you!

In this hands-on workshop, facilitated by filmmaker and educator Joao Lazaro, we'll cover creation, production, filming, editing, and publishing, giving you the skills to bring your vision to life.
