As chair of the Advisory Board to Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, she is working with the executive on a new strategy for the School to become a Force for Good.  She is currently working with Northstar Ventures to help mobilise their Venture North Fund and in the south of the region she is an associate of the Tees Valley Business Network where she leads on ‘in conversation with’ and business ethics’ events

Over the past 14 years she has served as an honorary diplomat to the Swedish Government and as the northeast region Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s chapter chair through which she promotes the region as an inward investment destination for Swedish companies.
