How to meet businesses and find out what they want

The first part of this session will demonstrate practical approaches to meeting potential collaboration partners through matching needs and capabilities.  Justin Perry will discuss his experience with Nzomics an Enterprise Unit in Northumbria University reliant on external commercial collaborations. 

The second element will introduce some of the digital approaches used to initiate dialogue through social media and outward facing digital activity.  Di Gates is an experienced professional who has worked with private, public and third sector clients to develop engagement strategies.  She has first-hand knowledge of initiating dialogue using Linked-in and other media that has led to collaboration projects.
