Sally Gilborson

Sally Gilborson is Non-Medical Prescribing Lead at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust. She qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 1997 and specialised in addictions. She went on to complete training as a Non-Medical Prescriber in 2007. She has been employed as Non-Medical Prescribing Lead since 2012 and works in a Trust which covers acute hospitals, community hospitals and a variety of health and social care community services. She completed a clinical fellowship with Health Education England in 2021, where she investigated non-medical prescribing across the South of England. She is a committee member of the Association for Prescribers and is currently undertaking a doctorate with the University of Bath, with a focus on research into deprescribing by NMPs.
