Lynn Johnson

Senior Lecturer

Department: Architecture and Built Environment

 Lynn is a chartered surveyor with 11 years of post-qualification experience and 14 years’ experience in the surveying profession.   Lynn came to the university from DTZ, Newcastle where she was an Associate Director within the Valuation Department for 9 years.  Prior to this she worked at Sanderson, Townend & Gilbert in Newcastle as a senior surveyor in the Professional Department.  Lynn’s expertise includes providing valuation advice to both private and public organisations (including local authorities, major property companies, national and international banks and pension funds); managing national asset valuation and loan security portfolio work. 


Lynn teaches commercial property valuation in addition to Real Estate Investment and finance at both undergraduate and post graduate.
