Dr Shenaz Rangwala

Shenaz Rangwala is an Assistant Professor in Marketing at Northumbria University, United Kingdom. Her research sits at the intersection of consumer behaviour, gender studies, and cultural theory, with a particular focus on how consumption shapes the lived experiences of women in transitional societies. She examines post-feminist discourses shaping marketing and consumer culture, and her recent work investigates the role of technology in enhancing or reducing social and gender inequalities. She specialises in qualitative and visual research methods, and her work has been published in leading academic journals and presented at academic conferences. Her research has also received support from prestigious funding bodies, including the British Academy and Wellcome.
