Dr Guy Tucker

Assistant Professor

School: Communities and Education

Guy has worked in helathcare and higher edcation for over 21 years. He has held a number of senior manager roles in the NHS (education and community services) and higher education (Deputy Head of Learning & Teaching). Guy is a specialist community nurse (District Nursing, Long term Health conditions). He is a Fellow of the Queen`s Nursing Institute and a Queen`s Nurse. He is educated to Doctoral, masters and degree level and is an experienced qualified workplace coach.

His research interests are memory studies, technology enabled healthcare, healthcare workforce development, e-cigarette/ smoking respiratory medicine, long term health conditions (COPD/ EoLC).
