Dr Chao Zhang

Chao Zhang is a Lecturer in International Business at Newcastle Business School in Northumbria University. With a rich educational background, his career exemplifies a deep commitment to education and research.
Originally from Xi'an (China), he began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Management from Guangxi University in China, providing a solid foundation in business principles. He then pursued a Master of Research in Management Organization and Business Economics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, sharpening his analytical and critical thinking skills. Continuing his academic pursuit, Chao earned a Ph.D. in Business Economics Management from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, specializing in the internationalization of companies. His doctoral research significantly contributed to the field, offering insights into the strategies and challenges of global expansion.
As a passionate researcher, Chao has been active in publishing highly influential journals, engaging with the international business community, participating in conferences, and collaborating with peers.
Chao's journey from a Bachelor's degree in China to a Lecturer in the UK showcases his unwavering dedication to international business excellence and shaping future global business leaders.
