If you are studying for one semester (less than 6 months):

 

ETA VISA

All students who are studying for one semester (less than 6 months) will now need to apply for an ETA visa. You can check whether you need an ETA visa on the UK government website.

 

If you are studying a yearlong course (two semesters):

If you are studying on a full-time course, it is required that you obtain a visa or the correct entry clearance in order to allow you to study in the UK, if required.

Before you apply for a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS,) you must have an unconditional offer from us.

Once we have issued your CAS, you can apply for your entry visa. For more information on how to apply for a visa please visit the UK government website.

 

If you are studying a yearlong course and do not require a visa, you must provide evidence of your permission to study in the UK. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • An alternative visa that allows study
  • A stamp in your passport
  • A UK passport
