The University has a long history of accepting Russian students onto its degree programmes; examples in recent years include Art & Design, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Construction Management, Finance And Investment Management, Geography, Logistics And Supply Chain Management, Marketing Management, Mechanical Engineering, Psychology and many more.

Although some courses have specific requirements for entry,Northumbria will consider any qualification for entry to its courses.

International Foundation Programme Certificate of Secondary Education Average of 4
1st Year Undergraduate  Certificate of Secondary Education and an acceptable grade from a recognised Foundation programme. Average of 4 in Certificate of Secondary Education and all Bs in Foundation Programme
First year of Bachelor degree/Bakalvr minimum GPA 3/Satisfactory
Postgraduate Programmes  5 year University Diploma or New-style 4 year Bachelor Degree  Average of 3.8 for courses requiring a UK 2:2 equivalent

Average of 4.2 for courses requiring a UK 2:1 equivalent
Graduate Certificate Bachelor Degree  3 / Satisfactory or above

Actual requirements may vary depending on your chosen course of study and certain courses may have specific or additional entry requirements, full details can be found on our course directory.  Decisions for entry will also be based on personal statements, previous study information and not just your final course grading.
