BACK TO UoA

The three research groups in Applied Health & Social Care, comprising more than 60 staff, carry out research that is inherently interdisciplinary and collaborative, with research addressing methodological developments and innovations that will positively impact on nursing, health and social care organisation and provision. Researchers from this area are founding members and leaders in the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North East and North Cumbria. Researchers in Applied Health & Social Care also contribute to the University’s multidisciplinary research theme ‘Integrated Health and Social Care’.
