MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH

Engineering has a strong focus on multidisciplinary, cross-cutting research which addresses national and global challenges such as climate change, net zero emissions, sustainable and efficient buildings, and manufacturing and quantum technologies. The Unit leads the University’s multidisciplinary research theme (MDRT) Energy Futures and actively contributes to the themes of Human and Digital Design, Extreme Environments, and Biodesign for the Bioeconomy.
