RESEARCH GROUPS

BACK TO UoA

Psychology is comprised of three core research groups and three smaller, highly distinct and focused research laboratories/centres.

Additionally, the Brain Performance and Nutrition Research Centre and the Northumbria Centre for Sleep Research form part of NUTRAN, a new external facing, interdisciplinary nutrition-focused clinical trials unit. NUTRAN integrates expertise in trial design and delivery with biochemical, molecular, vascular and neuroscience analyses. Support is offered for industry through services such as randomised controlled trials, consultancy and basic scientific discoveries.
