NEEACA

North East of England African Community Association was founded in 1997 to contribute to the wellbeing of those of African descent.

Its initial focus on welfare and advocacy has been combined with social events maintaining and disseminating African culture and educating on African history and current affairs, always with wonderful food and music.

This charitable, unfunded, volunteer -led organisation works closely with other statutory and voluntary organisations to disseminate information on employment, health, social and cultural opportunities and to offer educational and cultural workshops and visits to its members.

All its events are inclusive, child-friendly and open to all.
