Women's health has long been underfunded, under-researched, and underserved. The Women's Health Strategy for England set out an ambition to change that and the knowledge, skills, and advocates to make it real are urgently needed.
Northumbria's Women's Health MSc is designed to meet that moment. Drawing on the expertise of academics whose research spans health inequalities, reproductive health, and violence against women and girls, this programme takes a whole-life approach, from menstrual health through to ageing, rooted in sociology, psychology, public health, and policy as much as biomedical science. Delivered fully online and part-time, it works around your professional commitments, whilst equipping you to lead evidence-based change in practice, policy, or advocacy.
