Cyber Security Taster Day

PLEASE NOTE: Due to ongoing uncertainty regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Cyber Security event on Friday 24th April. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. However, our priority at all times must be the health, safety and wellbeing of visitors, students and staff.

As and when we receive guidance from Public Health England, confirming outreach activity is safe to resume, we will be in touch to reschedule if possible.

We are excited to announce our Cyber Security Taster event, which will take place on Friday 24th April, Computer Information Science Building, Ellison Place, NE1 8ST. Students should arrive for 10:00AM. There will be a scheduled break and lunch and the event will finish at 14:15 (Timings may be subject to change). Lunch is included in the day, however you are more than welcome to bring your own and there is also facilities on site.

This event is free and has very limited places and is therefore first come first served. We may limit the number of places per school and this will up to the discretion of the Northumbria University staff. If you have questions regarding the event please do not hesitate in contacting me at rebecca.heaton@northumbria.ac.uk or on 0191 227 4265.

Please note for this event students who sign up must attend due to the popularity of the event. Please note GCSE students should not use this form to sign up to the event. Please ask your teacher to email rebecca.heaton@northumbria.ac.uk with how many students will be attending. You must have gained permission from your school/college to attend this event.
