Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

Getting a degree from here is very prestigious because of its fast developing reputation.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

A great student friendly city. My favorite things are bowling, playing badminton, music, hanging around with good friends.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

I do not understand the Geordie accent. Newcastle city itself impressed me the most.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Definitely! I've made nice friends, and have nice tutors/mentors.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

Tutors are very friendly, never giving up on the weak students, trying their best to help and support students and finally the biggest and awesome campus.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

My Tutors!

What is your favourite place on campus?

Sport Central and the Law School building.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

No, but I have been a Student Representative volunteering the International Open Days and I found it very enthusiastic.

What is the best thing about your course?

Having sufficient time between the exams to cope up with revision.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Management of time.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I would like to practice as a Barrister in the courts. I have learnt every skills for achieving my future career like public speaking, organising things under pressure etc. as these are the things I learnt by studying in Northumbria.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

This University is the best for students as it comprises of excellent tutors and mostly a student friendly university.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Learned to handle my own problems and take my own decisions in life.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Awesome chilling campus!

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?

Definitely. I already have done to loads of my friends!
