Newcastle upon Tyne

Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

I chose Northumbria University because it is the nearest University that has a Design Department, as I didn't want to move away, and it was the first and only University I really wanted to go after I researched into a few Design Degree's, and found one that looked amazing with many job opportunities.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I love Newcastle, especially it being my home town. My favourite things to do in Newcastle are visiting the cinema, going on nights out with friends, shopping.

I've lived here all my life, but what has impressed me most so far is the Quayside, it is a beautiful place, one of my favourite places to go in Newcastle, as well as Civic Centre, however that is a place I just like to chill.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

My tutors, especially some that had been various places in life and showing us what they've created, and giving us the inspiration that one day we may be there.

What is the best thing about your course?

Learning new things, and then achieving targets.
