Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

I chose Northumbria because it is a high ranking university in the business field.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Newcastle is a nice place. It's easy to get anything I want from the city. I like to explore Newcastle  whilst I have free time.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

What impressed me the most is the nightlife. They party non-stop on a Friday and Saturday night.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, Northumbria University is very welcoming. The services they provide are easy to get in touch with and simple to understand. Also, it is easy to fit in the school environment.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

I enjoy going to the 24/7 library the Unoversity offers. It is very impressive to have a 24/7 library on campus.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

My sister would be the one who helped me the most since I arrived, simply because she used to study in United Kingdom. I could get any advice and suggestions from her.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

My course mate  inspires me whilst I am in class, because they will finish their assignments with plenty of time before the due date.

What is your favourite place on campus?

My favourite place is the 24/7 library.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

I joined Malaysian Society and became a committee member. This is new a experience for me and I really love it.

What is the best thing about your course?

My course provides us with a variety of helping sources and websites which helps us to improve our study.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

The most valuable lesson learnt to date would be during my ASK class where I developed my communication and writing skills.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I would like to be a businessman in the future, and I guess I have developed a good sense of time management, that will come to be useful in the future.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

I would recommend studying here at Northumbria University because it is a university that not only focuses on your result, but also you future employ-ability.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I have become more independent since starting my studies. As I am living alone, I have to do everything on my own.

Nice, Good, Great!

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?

Yes, I would definitely do that!
