Postgraduate Research

Norhanis -modnorThis research aims to carry out extensive theoretical investigation, simulation studies and experimental demonstration pertaining to the system design and performance analysis of all-optical relay-assisted FSO communications systems. Two schemes are investigated which are amplify-and-forward and all-optical regeneration systems. Performance analysis in term of bit error rate (BER), signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), Q-factor and eye-diagram, and probability of outage of both systems are investigated particularly under the effect of atmospheric turbulence.
