Occupational Therapy

What was it about the course that attracted you?

I want to be an Occupational Therapist (OT) and having a degree already, the MSc was the ideal opportunity to gain the qualification to be an OT whilst studying for a Masters.

What do you like most about the course?

The other members of my cohort and placement experience.

Can you give an example of a piece of work you’ve been involved with?

I am currently researching inter-professional education and I set up a woman’s woodwork group whilst on placement.

What would you like to do when you graduate?

I want to work as an Occupational Therapist in mental health or paediatrics.

Any advice for prospective students?

It is a demanding course academically but very enjoyable and challenging, so be prepared to work hard!
