LiveYou was founded by Dan and Sam. At university, Dan studied Business Management and Sam studied Business with Marketing Management. LiveYou is a user-led organisation that helps people with physical disabilities to; access and manage social care funding, and recruit and manage teams of personal assistants that will enable them to achieve their goals in life.
"We have received immense support from Northumbria University over the years. As we built our team we used the Incubator shared office space as our base and had access to incredibly valuable advice from in-house experts in marketing, sales, web design, finance, and overall business strategy. The advice that we gained genuinely helped us advance years by giving us great ideas and highlighting potential mistakes to avoid. We would highly recommend the Incubator to any entrepreneur, and I believe it should be one of the most funded projects at all universities, as it literally is the centre of innovation and job creation for the UK. LiveYou now has a team of 6 people and has since moved into our own office in Gateshead, and operates nationwide".
