Business School extends its international partnerships

27th June 2016

Newcastle Business School is delighted to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Offenburg University in Germany.

This partnership will enable the two institutions to collaborate regarding the delivery of doctoral programmes within the departments of Business and Law.  To launch the partnership programme, members of staff from the department of Business and Industrial Engineering, Hochschule Offenburg visited Newcastle Business School on Monday 20th June for a one-day conference.

Academics from Offenburg were able present their research together with supervisory interests and expertise whilst learning about the three signature research areas within Newcastle Business School – Digital Business; Strategic Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership and Responsible Business. Offenburg staff also underwent their doctoral supervisor training so that they could join doctoral teams for their students in the capacity of second supervisor, working alongside principal supervisors from Newcastle Business School.
