Liane joined Northumbria in 2018 as Registrar for Educational Partnerships. This was a new role to head the Educational Partnerships team and provide leadership and management to support the University's growing portfolio of partnerships including collaborative franchise provision and Degree Apprenticeships. Liane is also responsible for overseeing the academic administration of our London and Amsterdam campuses. The position directly supports the University's strategic aim to diversify our portfolio of programmes and provide flexible, market-led education.
Before joining Northumbria Liane worked in a wide range of Higher Education administrative and management roles at Sunderland and Newcastle Universities including school management, central registry positions responsible for examinations and awards and the set-up and management of Newcastle University's campus in London.
