My Favourite Places for Coffee

Anele Sachparonian Out and about

Coffee shop for a lot of can mean different things, but for all people, it is a place for good coffee. However, for me it is a place to meet your friends, to study, even to wait for classes and that is why I always check for perfect spots with perfect coffee in the city and I will introduce you with my Top 5 coffee spots.

1.       Vicolo (10 Pilgrim Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE30 2HQ)

It is a great little place, with a big variety of coffee and cake options, usually not load and cozy, for those who like to study here and the staff is really friendly and can even give you some recommendation how to wake up today.

2.       Tyneside Bar Café (10 Pilgrim St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 6QG)

It is next to Vicolo, so if for some reason there won’t be any seats, Tyneside Bar Café is just one door down. It can be bit louder because they serve more food, not just snacks, but coffee is really good and there always will be a place for you and your books, or you and your friends.

3.       Waterstones Café (Emerson Chambers, Blackett St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 7JF)

It is on the 1st floor of Waterstones bookshop, I like that tables are all around the floor, so you can find a quiet place and maybe being around books gives you more motivation to study. And there are bigger tables for bigger companies.

4.       The McCrouzer Café (11-, 15 Starbeck Ave, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 1RH)

This coffee place is a bit further from centre, but it is really cozy place with good coffee and even better sandwiches if you live in Sandyford (or even further)  it should be on your top list for studying and chilling

5.       Dog and Scone (22 Pudding Chare, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1UE)

This café has dogs, should I need to say something else?  And if you are more of the cat person, there is cat café next door. But again – dogs.
