HKU SPACE was founded in 1957 and offers a wide range of part-time courses, offered at all academic levels and organised under 23 subject groups allocated among three colleges: of Business and Finance (CBF), Humanities and Law (CHL) and Life Sciences and Technology (CLST).
In October 2021, HKU SPACE was awarded the ASIIN institutional accreditation seal as a follow up to its International Quality Review which assessed the School against the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.
HKU SPACE collaborates with a wide range of academic and professional institutions globally (in the UK, Australia, the USA, Mainland China) and in Hong Kong to offer a greater variety of high quality and relevant programmes to students.
In collaboration with Northumbria University, HKU SPACE delivers undergraduate and postgraduate Sport Coaching and Sport Management programmes.
