There are currently around 80 students from Saudi Arabia enrolled on programmes as diverse as Accounting and Finance, Applied Chemistry, Architectural Technology, Business Management, Computer and Network Technology, Electrical And Electronic Engineering, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and many more.

Northumbria University has been approved by the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education for funding in a wide variety of subject categories. Further information can be found on the MOHE website.

Although some courses have specific requirements for entry, Northumbria will consider any qualification for entry to its courses.

International Foundation Programme Tawjihiyah (General Secondary Education Certificate)  60% or above
1st Year Undergraduate  College of Technology Diploma Higher Technology Diploma Junior Health College Diploma  GPA 2.75/4 or 3.5/5
Associate Degree  GPA 2.75/4 or 3.5/5
Entry from Bachelors degree – entry after year 1 of Saudi degree Average of 60%, and having completed around 30 credit hours 
Advanced Undergraduate Associate Degree (depending on course) GPA 2.75/4 or 3.5/5
Advanced entry from Bachelors degree – entry after year 2 of Saudi degree Average of 60%, and having completed around 60 credit hours 
Advanced entry from Bachelors degree – entry after year 3 of Saudi degree  Average of 60%, and having completed around 90 credit hours 
Postgraduate Programmes  Bachelor Degree  GPA 2.75/4 or 3.5/5 for courses which require a UK 2:2 equivalent

GPA 3.2/4 or 4/5 for courses which require a UK 2:1 equivalent
Graduate Certificate Bachelor Degree   GPA 2.0/4 or 2.5/5

Decisions for entry will also be based on personal statements, previous study information and not just your final course grading.
