 The Silver Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) award recognises that Northumbria prioritises investment in our students learning environment. We ensure that the most effective physical and digital resources are used effectively by staff in teaching, and by students to enhance their learning. 

We pride ourselves in providing the best possible learning environment which is demonstrated in our investment of £220 million since 2006, creating real-world work environments on our City and Coach Lane campuses. In the next two years an additional £52 million is committed in our City Campus to create an even better student experience.

Northumbria’s services provide extensive and robust support to all our students to ensure our students are exposed to provision at the forefront of academic excellence and student experiences.
