How will studying at Northumbria help you reach your career goals / give your career an edge?
Northumbria is very supportive to all their students, including myself. I have a good experience studying in Northumbria University because of their good facilities which help me a lot in my studies. Moreover, the academic tutors are very friendly and always doing more than I expected. They always keep supporting me to achieve a better career in the future.
What is the best thing about your course?
The best thing about my course is that it is closely monitored by RICS, which means the lessons are based on realistic cases, meaning the students can learn more about practical skills in property business. The course leaders also like to invite guest lecturers and offer students site visits, which is very helpful for me to study surveying. Moreover, my course in Northumbria is one of the top 5 courses in the UK.
Who has inspired you the most, and why?
God inspired me the most; but I always got inspired by all the people around the world who never give up and always keep trying to do their best to get what they want. Because it teaches me that northing can be achieved without working hard, practice makes perfect.
Which skills/knowledge have you learned so far on your course that you use most now/will use throughout your career?
I have learned a lot during my study in Northumbria University. From my course I learned more about how to manage a single or mixed-use property and all of its aspects. I also learned about leadership skills from my course. Furthermore, as an international student I also improved my communication skills using English.
What are you enjoying most about your time at Northumbria University?
I do enjoy the facilities during my time at Northumbria University. The University offers a 24-hour library with a computer lab full of information sources to help me do my research. I am also very interested in sports and the University offers Sport Central with a high standard of facilities in it. Northumbria was the stand-out choice for me.
What advice would you give somebody who is thinking of studying at Northumbria?
Think twice and make sure your course is definitely what you want. As I mentioned before, Northumbria University is very supportive to all of their students with studying and doing activities. I very highly recommend Northumbria University for a place to study.
