Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

The course was suggested to be one of the best in the country, along with the 30 million investment in sport it proved to be the perfect place for me.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Beautiful City, friendly people. Shopping in Newcastle is amazing with great public transport links to North and South, I can travel and all over England, Scotland and Wales.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

How helpful and friendly everyone is, makes you feel comfortable living away from home.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Very easy to fit in, the Students' Union run numerous events in the first week helping freshers to meet alots of new people and become familair with Newcastle.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The sports- great social aspect of university life.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

Lecturers and other sports associates.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Sports Central, amazing facilities.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

I was Swimming president this year, it was an amazing opportunity. With swimming we get to travel and compete against all otehr univerities within the U.K. A highlight encluded ending this season in 2nd place overall.

What is the best thing about your course?

The lectures, always there if we need help and guidance.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Team Work is extremely important in daily life.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

Sports Physio. Communitcation and team work.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

A total of 12 weeks of placement over the past two years.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

APPLY! It's an amazing city with an amazing university.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I've made more friends and grown with confidence in my course.

Unforgetable, amazing, sucessful!

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?
