LPQB RECOGNISED STUDY
Law LLB (Hons) at Northumbria is recognised by the Legal Profession Qualifying Board (LPQB) of Malaysia, providing you with a trusted pathway to legal practice in Malaysia. This recognition allows graduates to pursue a qualification through the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or progression to the Bar Course at Northumbria.
The LPQB regulates entry into the Malaysian legal profession under the Legal Profession Act 1976. An LPQB-recognised law degree is essential for students intending to qualify as lawyers in Malaysia.
A Trusted Path: Northumbria provides a trusted path to practice law in Malaysia with 30 years of LPQB recognition.
Student Satisfaction: In the National Student Survey 2026, over 94% of Law students surveyed positively rated the learning resources on their course and Northumbria is ranked 12th out of 111 UK Law providers for learnning resources.

DEGREE TRANSFER PROGRAMMES
Completing your degree at Northumbria as part of your 1+2 or 2+1 pathway.
Degree Transfer Programme, Top-Up Course/Degree and Completion Award are all terms for courses that permit advanced entry onto an undergraduate degree at Northumbria.
If you're visiting this page from BAC, you wilkl be most familiar with the term Degree Transfer Programme which refers to studying a 1+2 or 2+1 programme that involves completing your degree at Northumbria.
