Dr Steven Pattinson

Senior Lecturer in Strategy

Department: Newcastle Business School

Prior to joining Newcastle Business School, Steven held posts at Newcastle University Business School, Teesside University Business School and Sheffield Business School. Steven has taught a range of modules in the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation and has held a number of leadership roles including Programme Leader for FdA Leadership and Management at Teesside University and Course Leader for the Executive MBA at Sheffield Hallam University. He currently teaches on a range of modules and is the course tutor for Globalization, Innovation and Sustainability. He is also a Visiting Lecturer at Accadis University in Frankfurt, Germany where he leads the module International Strategic Challenges. Steven has published articles in leading journals including Management Learning, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Local Economy and Journal of Knowledge Management. He has also been involved in a number of consultancy projects and has worked with a wide range of organizations including the National Offender Management Service, Gateshead Council and the Institute for Local Governance.
