Whatever brought you here, you're in the right place.

UCAS Clearing looks different for everyone. Some students use it to switch to a course or university that fits them better. Others are finding their footing after results day didn't go as expected. Either way, it's a valid route to somewhere good.

At Northumbria University, you'll get straightforward advice and supportive guidance from people who are genuinely here to help you work out your next step, whatever that looks like. Register your interest, and we'll be in touch as soon as Clearing opens.

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT CLEARING

Not sure where to start? Here are some of the most common questions from students in the search phase.

If you have all of your results, when Clearing opens on 2nd July, you can use our NU Clearing form to find out if we are able to make you an offer.  This form will be available to complete from 2nd July.

If we can make you an offer, we’ll provide information to help you add your Clearing choice to formalise it through UCAS.

For step-by-step guidance on applying through Clearing, read our full breakdown of the UCAS Clearing application process.

If you were previously interviewed for a course during the main cycle and were not successful at your interview, you can reapply for the same course via Clearing, providing you meet the academic requirements. You will be required to attend a new online interview.

Through UCAS Clearing, you can apply for only one course at a time. If your first choice is unsuccessful, you can then apply for another. While you can explore various courses and universities during Clearing, you will only have one active application.

At Northumbria, if you have your results, you should use our NU Clearing Form (available from 2nd July) before applying through UCAS as we will be able to tell you if we are able to make you an offer.

If you have used all five choices on your application and are not holding any offers, you could still find a place up until the 1st July via UCAS Extra.

Yes, you can reapply for a course you have previously declined, provided you meet the Clearing academic entry requirements.

We accept all Level 3 Qualifications that carry UCAS tariff points. Find out more in our UCAS Tariff Points guide or on UCAS.com.

THERE'S STILL TIME TO APPLY

If you haven't applied to university yet, or you applied but aren't holding any offers, you don't have to wait for results day.
