IMPACT CASE STUDIES

BACK TO UoA

The overarching strategy for the Department for Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation is to deliver real-world applications from its research to the wider community beyond academia. From research influencing performance impact for competing elite athletes, to addressing the challenges of exercise during a pandemic for those with disabilities, Northumbria’s research spans multiple different groups and sectors of society. Find out more about our research impact in each of the Impact Case Studies below.
