NU15 Hoodie Competition

Using Twitter, Vine or Instagram we would love to see you showing how happy you are in your NU15 hoodies for a chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher.

Undergraduate applicants in 2015 who accept their offer from Northumbria and recieve their NU15 hoodie are eligible to enter our competition by posting a picture/video of themselves in their NU15 Hoodie using the #IWANTNU on either Twitter, Vine or Instagram. The winning prize will be a £100 Amazon voucher.

You must use #IWANTNU within your social post to be considered and be in with a chance to win one of the following prizes;

The competition is only open to applicants who have applied in 2015 and accept their place with Northumbria University. Full terms and conditions can be found below. The competition closes at midnight on 30th June 2015.

WHAT DO I WIN

The prize for the winning entry is £100 in Amazon vouchers. Each eligible entry will be considered and added to a database with a unique number. A random prize draw will take place after the closing date of 30th June to select a winner and they will be contacted after this draw to recieve their prize.

RULES

The post must show your NU15 Hoodie.

It must be posted on either Vine, Twitter or Instagram.

You must use the #IWANTNU in your social post.

Please note, any images containing inappropriate or offensive material will not be accepted into the competition

If your image contains anyone other than yourself you must have permission to enter the image into the competition on the social platform and the responsibility lies with you.

All entries will be check against our applicant details to make sure you have accepted your place at Northumbria.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Only Northumbria University applicants who have accepted their place at Northumbria and gone firm are eligible to enter.

Social platforms that applicants are able to use for entry into the competition are Vine, Twitter and Instagram. Whilst you can use other platforms to post social comments to your followers about the competition these will not be considered for the competition.

Posts valid for entry into the NU15 Hoodie competition must be posted onto the specified social platforms before midnight on 30th June 2015.

Only social posts including the #IWANTNU and contain a picture of the NU15 hoodie will be eligible for entry.

Applicants can enter as many times as they like, by posting social media posts across all of the specified social platforms between the given times.

Applicants who have entered the NU15 Applicant Visit Day competition are eligible to also enter the NU15 Hoodie Competition and any posts they enter into the NU15 Applicant Visit Day competition featuring their NU15 Hoodie that are eligible will automatically be included.

All entries into the competition will be assigned a unique entry number internally and the winner will be selected from a random number generator prize draw.

Winners will be contacted after the closing date of 30th June 2015 to inform them of their win and to confirm address for prize to be delivered.

The winning prize cannot be altered or exchanged for a cash prize.

Any applicant who posts a social media post that contains any negative or offensive imagery or wording will be automatically removed from the competition and not eligible to win.

Northumbria University has the final say in who is eligible to enter and who wins.

Northumbria University’s decision is final.

Competitions are not open to employees

No purchase necessary.

Posting your uploads to the social media platforms is not proof that we have seen your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are missed, or which are not seen for any reason when Northumbria University staff are monitoring the social media hashtags to be used in the competition. If your social account is private then your entry may not show in the social platform streams.

Northumbria University reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.

If you win, we will notify you by email, or social media, within 72 working hours of the closing date. If you do not respond within 48 hours of being notified, you will forfeit your prize and Northumbria University reserves the right to choose another winner. Northumbria’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering the competition and using #IWANTNU you are giving Northumbria University permission to use your post, including video and image content, and social media username, in any marketing material, social media platform and on our website.

You can find out who has won the competition by checking the Northumbria University website NU15 Hoodie competition page where the winner information will be displayed after they have been notified and confirmed.

The prize will not be transferable to another person.

No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

Northumbria University reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Northumbria University may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.

If the competition or promotion is run on Facebook Twitter, Vine, Instagram, Google+, or other social media platforms, then it is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with these social media platforms. By participating you hereby release and hold harmless these social media platforms from any and all liability associated with this promotion.

Northumbria University will endeavor to send prizes within a month of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.

The competition is governed by English law.
