Dr Yu Ye

Lecturer

Department: Newcastle Business School

Yu Ye holds a PhD in Management Science from the University of Kent. He joined the Newcastle Business School as a Lecturer in Digital Marketing in September 2022. Previously, he was an associate lecturer at Newcastle University Business School.
Yu has more than three years’ experience of teaching at both UG and PG levels and has been awarded an Associate Fellow at the Higher Education Academy (HEA). He has taught a number of modules including Small Business Marketing and Management, Business Analysis Tools, and Managing Organisational Performance.
Yu’s research interests focus on applying digital marketing strategies to help businesses enhance their organisational performance. He is also interested in developing the internal market orientation to assist organisations in improving employee satisfaction and productivity. His work has appeared in journals such as Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, Qualitative Market Research: An International Journal, and book chapters.
