To support its officers through the initial critical phase of their careers, Durham Constabulary has teamed up with experts at Northumbria University to offer two distinct training options that make a career in the police accessible to as many people as possible. Whether you entered the workforce after gaining school qualifications, went to college to pursue a trade or vocation, want to add a further specialism to your degree, or fancy a change of direction later in life, we will help you find the path that is best for you.  

On Friday May 29th, Durham Constabulary will open applications for its 2020 intake of police officers – giving potential recruits a two-week opportunity to change their lives forever.
