LGBTQ+ and Ally Profiles

Northumbria University is proud to have a diverse community of staff and Students. LGBTQ* staff, students and ally role models are important so that we can challenge stereotypes and provide inspiration to others.

We are proud of our LGBTQ* and ally role models who are promoting the importance of being authentic within the workplace and study environment; only when people can be truly themselves can they truly flourish. We hope that by sharing the personal experiences of some of our LGBTQ* and ally role models there will be a greater awareness and respect for those in the LGBTQ* community.

If you are a staff member or student and would like to share your own story and become one of our inspirational role models please contact: Sharon.e.stewart@northumbria.ac.uk
