London Graduate Fashion Week

Graduate Fashion Week is the world’s leading event for fashion graduates, and will take place at The Old Truman Brewery within the heart of East London's creative quarter.

Fashion at Northumbria has seen many of its graduates populating design studios, buying offices, publishing houses and creative agencies all over the world. The School of Design has an established reputation at Graduate Fashion Week, with our students winning over 40 awards in the last few years, including New Designer of the Year, the Fashion Innovation Award and the Ethical Award.

Northumbria University graduates have gone on to take senior roles with internationally renowned design houses including Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, Chloe, Donna Karan, Abercrombie & Fitch and Nike.

Showcasing the work of over 1,000 graduates from the most influential and inspiring UK and international universities, Graduate Fashion Week represents the future of creative design talent. It will consist of catwalk shows, extensive exhibitions from over 40 Universities, a number of live talks and workshops from leading industry professionals, mentoring, photo studio and much more.

An unrivalled platform for the promotion of new talent, it bridges the gap between graduation and employment and is responsible for launching the careers of some of the most successful designers of our time including Christopher Bailey, who was the winner of the first ever Graduate Fashion Week Gold Award, Stella McCartney, Giles Deacon, Matthew Williamson and Julien Macdonald.
