The Akrun Engineering Scholarship for September 2022/23

The Akrun Scholarship for September 2022

At Northumbria, we are passionate about bringing together our inspirational courses, forward-thinking staff and innovative students to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.  Northumbria champions students who are curious, hardworking and academically gifted.

The Akrun Scholarship was established in order to support and inspire a talented Engineering student through their university journey.  The donor is an Engineering graduate of Northumbria University and is keen to give something back now they are able to do so.  The scholarship is named after the company started by the donor’s Father in India - an Engineering and Material Science based business - and where the donor started their career.  It also recognises the important role their Father played in their life.

The Akrun Scholarship will award one highly gifted Engineering student with £2,000 cash during their first year of Undergraduate study only.  The money can be used to enhance the overall university learning experience.
