Employability

Employability is central to our Masters courses, both in their design and our links with industry.

Employability is central to our Masters courses, both in their design and our links with industry. Whether you want to progress in your chosen career, change direction, lead your discipline or follow your passion, we have shaped our Masters courses to support your future ambitions.

In today’s increasingly competitive environment, being able to get a job is no longer enough. We want you to be on the fast track promotion list, recognised for your leadership qualities and your ability to get things done and drive through new and innovative solutions.

Projects and placements with leading companies and organisations, as well as the potential to study abroad, have been embedded into many of our courses. This gives you the chance to expand your horizons and build your self-confidence, self-reliance and self-esteem. All of which will serve you well whether you choose to work for yourself or someone else.

It’s not surprising that 96% of our graduates are working or in further study* and Northumbria is ranked seventh in the UK for the number of graduates in professional employment**.
