CSR

Northumbria University is committed to being an ethical and sustainable organisation.

From developing our infrastructure in an environmentally sustainable way to considering the effect of our activities on the local community, corporate responsibility is at the heart of everything we do.

We have developed a corporate responsibility statement to demonstrate to our stakeholders what is meant by corporate responsibility and our commitments to continually improve our performance across all areas of the organisation.  The statement sets a standard for how the University carries out its business and illustrates how it proposes to operate to uphold and improve upon these standards in the future.

In order to further build upon our objectives and successes, we are currently developing a comprehensive corporate responsibility strategy in parallel with Northumbria University’s Corporate Strategy 2013 - 2018.
