Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

The city and the course sounded very interesting.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Newcastle is an amazing city and the nightlife never fails to be great!

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

My lecturers who spur me on.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Quad outside the SU and Library. 

What is the best thing about your course?

The variety of choice of subjects within modules. 

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Time management, don't leave things until the last minute. 

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I want to get into a career which I enjoy, all my lecturers love their job and it's so nice to see that! so I think I'll take positivity with me.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

I worked with the Youth Offending Team which handles young people who are involved with the criminal justice system. it was great to get a real insight into that.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Come here with an open mind about meeting people and what you want to do in life, and enjoy every second.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I have definitely become more confident in myself and learned that you can never know enough people.

Amazing, unforgettable, life-changing
