Please register your interest to apply for one of these funded PhD positions via the entry form below. The UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training in Citizen-Centred Artificial Intelligence has nine different Research Themes. We encourage student applicants from all disciplines with no prior AI knowledge required, and also encourage applications across our Research Themes and ones that are not bound to these themes. This means our students will be highly skilled across multiple disciplines including AI and Data Science, Participatory and Co-Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Ethics and Legal Frameworks, Business and Law, Politics and Social Science.

Potential Students
We are running workshop sessions to help you prepare your PhD application. 

As part of our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity we will be hosting pre-application workshops to support individuals that identify with under-represented groups (Women, individuals with disabilities, first generation students, students from low socio-economic backgrounds and individuals that identify as Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) within computing and research in submitting an application. Key Dates for Prospective Students

Week commencing 26th February 2024

Pre-application workshops will be held during February and March. Two workshops will be held online [08/03/24 and 15/03/24] and two more will be held in person [29/02/24 and 07/03/24], one workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne, and the other one in London.
