Leah Rosengarten


Department: Nursing, Midwifery & Health

Leah has recently joined Northumbria University on a permanent basis, following a one year’s secondment from Paediatric Oncology at the Great North Children’s Hospital, where she was based for 6 years. She teaches across different modules in Pre and Post Registration Child Nursing programmes and is a Personal Tutor for September 2019 BSc Children's Nursing Students.

Leah completed an MSc in Practice Development in 2017, which focused largely on NHS workforce issues such as stress, absenteeism and teamwork between Nurses.

Leah is currently working towards becoming a fellow of the Higher Education Authority and completing her PhD which focuses on the personal and professional development of Children's Nurses.
